She should learn how to take an aim, be confident and be determined to pursue her dreams without others telling her what she needs to do or might think. She should not be afraid to take some risks and go out of her comfort zone. Responsibilities will always be there but she should not forget to enjoy her life. But will Lou’s love be enough for Will to stay? Will Will give up the only thing that he can control, his choice?ĭuring the course of six months, Will taught Lou to give time to herself and to not be afraid to demand respect from people around her. ![]() As they grew closer, Lou’s plan extended to Will staying alive to Will staying alive because she love him. Her plans were guided by their ultimate goal to make Will realize that there is more to life after what happened to him. He planned their daily routines and trips that were a mixture of hits and misses. Learning the plan that Will wanted to do to end his miseries sent Lou out of his comfort zone and started to work with Lou’s family to change his mind. Will resented Lou’s presence during the first few days but that eventually changed after the two eventually learned to get around each other. Intimidation filled Lou and Will’s pride became a wall that separated them both. Lou’s arrival at the Traynor’s grand mansion caused quite a stir. He no longer wants to try anything and longs for death. He believes that his life is already over. The accident caused him to have a negative outlook in life causing him to become sarcastic, rude and moody most of the time. Being a former corporate man, he was used to going to different places, challenging himself by trying different things and dating women. ![]() Being the bread winner of the family, which means she badly needs to have a new job to support her family, though hesitant, she agreed to take a temporary 6-month but high paying job as a carer to a 35-year old wealthy man named Will Traynor who was left paralyzed after an accident, an accident that caused him his freedom to do the things that he enjoy. The book follows the story of 26-year old Louisa Clark, or Lou, who was left with no job after the cafe where she worked for six years suddenly closed. It’s on my list of books that I was not in a hurry to read but because of the movie coming out soon I decided to bump up this book on my TBR and yes, I’m quite happy I did. ![]() To be honest, the main reason why I picked up this book is because of its movie coming out. What is love? What defines happiness? When can love equate to happiness? Is it when we allow ourselves to be happy, or is is when we unselfishly allow others to be happy for the sake of our own happiness? When can a choice be considered as right or wrong? Is it judged by what we feel is right, or by the people around us?
